“Ni Una Mas” is an artwork that relates to “the dead women of Juarez.” The bodies of these young new comer maquiladora
workers end up in vacant lots, lying amidst of tin cans, diapers, and car tires. Cadavers with signs of torture and sexual
violence brew with all these scraps. A neck piece of tightly woven rubber was created to cover the wearer’s neck,
intensifying the feeling of asphyxiation, with the debris in which they’re camouflaged.
