I create tools to encourage or entice interaction with an ambiguity of form: slight nods indicate where we might place ourselves through indentation and contour. The objects, fluid and open ended, represent a border: we have to work together to activate the pieces.
The border is not a passive thing, it is imposing and austere. Conversely, the surfaces of Nexus are treated in a colorful manner, which can be seen as an invitation to interact, and a negation of the intimidation we are meant to feel by borders.
