In this speculative narrative, AD 2215 envisions a future where Homo sapiens no longer exist—not because we were a weak race, but because we adapted to inevitability. Global pandemics and rapid technological advancements drove humanity to the brink of isolation, altering the very fabric of human interaction.

Living beings are not meant to live a life of solitude. In response, evolution took an unexpected turn: humans regenerated into conjoined beings, sharing a single body to ensure companionship in an otherwise isolated existence. These new beings, known as Craniopegus, reflect humanity’s instinct for survival, where connection becomes a biological necessity rather than a choice.

The objects in AD 2215 embody this speculative transformation, their forms suggesting both fusion and interdependence. Through their ambiguous yet interconnected design, the work highlights how human relationships evolve in response to environmental pressures. The concept underscores the delicate balance between adaptation and the loss of individuality, questioning the cost of survival in an increasingly isolated world.

The accompanying visuals further ground the narrative, capturing the haunting beauty of a future where companionship is inseparable from survival.

The only way we survive is if we are one.

Darwinism ensued.
